We, as consumers, consultants and entrepreneurs have been presented new challenges in these economic times. These challenges are fast becoming opportunities to strategically branch creativity to new heights, to expand our talents and portfolios beyond traditional boundaries. As a creative director, in the past I treasured the word "specialize" for its perspective of achievement in design. Today, Shelley Glasow Schadowsky is a student to all artistic formats. And while I still am a creative director, I am also an entrepreneur, photographer, publisher, journalist, editor and author. Unbound by specialties, I have become a compilation of consumer understanding, listening and leading with innovative ideas.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising and Graphic Design and offer over 15 years of experience in the design industry with a broad spectrum of services beyond branding, print, publication and web design. The question is, what strategies will continue to drive consumerism? It is my belief, the old branding adage "Repetition, Recognition, Reputation and Results," still remains steadfast from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and throughout all economic platforms. Moving forward, we have incredible opportunities to persevere and visually change our consumer landscape.
